Sam's Nearby Laurelvale celebrates Countryside Alliance Success.

Recognition like this is a fantastic reminder of the impact independent retailers have in their local communities, and we're delighted to celebrate Sam Bingham and the team at Nearby Laurelvale, who have been recognised at the Countryside Alliance Awards.

The store recently received the Village Shop and Post Office of the Year title, recognising retailers that make an outstanding contribution to local life.

Owned and operated by Sam Bingham, Nearby Laurelvale has become much more than a convenience store. Alongside offering everyday grocery essentials, customers can also access Post Office services, fresh bread, newspapers and a welcoming local hub that supports residents across the community.
